Fabrica de Cerveza Kettal (FCK) is a brewpub located in Palmones, Los Barrios in the Province of Cadiz in Southern Spain.
We brew flavourful, English style real ale on the premises, using traditional methods and all natural ingredients.
FCK is part of the revolution against mass produced products, which is growing throughout the food industry. Consumers are growing aware that many foodstuffs contain all sorts of chemical additives to give them the flavour and appearance that big companies think the average consumer expects.
FCK uses the flavours that nature provides, with no unnatural additives.
This applies equally to the food we serve in our restaurant.
FCK is owned and managed by Mercedes Scanlon (in charge of front of house) and Tim Revill (in charge of the production and distribution of beer). Mercedes and Tim are supported by FCK's Brewmaster and an enthusiastic staff.
FCK opened its doors in August 2010. We are the first microbrewery in living memory in the Province of Cadiz and it has been a learning process for everyone, both local and health authorities and Mercedes and Tim.
Our brewline is 7.5 barrels (1,225 litres), so we can theoretically produce a maximum of 450,000 litres per annum, working flat out. We produce six types of beer throughout the year and seasonal specialities Our beers.
